2025–2026 Season Social Campaign

This social media campaign was designed to announce the University of Iowa Performing Arts departments’ 2025–2026 season, highlighting events from scholarship showcases to operas and plays. The goal was to create a cohesive and visually engaging system that captured the energy of each event while making audiences stop and take notice.

During the design process, I experimented with layering and composition, initially using a paper-tear effect to “reveal” each event but ultimately refining it to a cleaner, more structured look. I continued to explore color application within the grid, adjusting tones and overlays to enhance focus and readability while maintaining visual interest. The final campaign combined organization with energy, providing a unified and engaging visual identity for the department’s season.

I developed a gridded imagery system that intertwined multiple photos reflecting the same energy and mood of each performance. This approach allowed for dynamic, eye-catching compositions that communicated excitement and variety. The university-mandated gold and black palette, paired with Antonio and Roboto typefaces, created a clear and supportive textual border around the imagery, tying the campaign to the school’s branding.
