dttg redesign

Tyler, the Creator is an artist I’ve long admired for his unique sound, sharp lyricism, and the storytelling he builds through his visual campaigns (something I felt fell short in the cover art for his latest album). Don’t Tap the Glass, explores the feeling of breaking through constant supervision to define one’s own identity: encouraging the listener to think, move, and speak freely. In this redesign, I leaned into the idea of surveillance by using yellow (a caution-tape reference) to create an uneasy, warning-like tone along with shattered glass elements to show the defiance Tyler encourages.
