This conceptual postcard series inspired by the Adidas Gazelle soccer team campaign was designed as collectible inserts for shoe packaging. The cards connect the Gazelle’s legacy to global soccer culture: showing that both the shoe and the sport are more than objects. They represent identity and tradition. Using the slogans “More than a sport. More than a shoe.” and “United by the game. Defined by the culture.” the campaign highlights how soccer and culture are deeply intertwined.

Personal Project - 09/2025

My approach on this project focused on transforming a marketing piece into something meaningful that customers would want to keep. Each card celebrates a different team by blending cultural identity with the visual story of the Gazelle. The main postcard shows the shoe engraved with cultural elements, symbolizing how every step carries history and heritage. While individual cards feature a colored version of these cultural symbols (like banderitas for Mexico or a bull for Spain) paired with empowering slogans in each country’s language to deepen emotional connection.

The shoes are positioned above these visuals to show how culture and movement coexist. On the back, I used each team’s jersey color and subtle patterning for depth and authenticity. The cards are designed to be collected and valued, reinforcing the Gazelle’s place in both sport and culture. Using the Graphik family to convey a bold, confident tone that ties the campaign together with a modern and unified look.
